URSA LOVES Top 5 Fantasy Royal Wedding Guest Dresses

So we are gearing up to tomorrow's Royal Wedding and the sartorial excitement it beholds! Basically we could not resist musing over which dresses we would love to see adorning the female glitterati of wedding guests... If we had it our way, here's our Top 5 Countdown of what they would be wearing:

Dress #5 - Grey & Orange Tuck Dress by Karen Walker (£165) - Ok so maybe marl-grey jersey is a little over casual for a Royal occasion, but the bright orange full skirt and puff sleeve detail just edges this dress into the smart zone...

Dress #4 - Tan Linen Dress by Karen Walker (£310) - We love the understated elegance of this dress, fitted top half, relaxed tie shoulders and the material - a linen mix - reminds us of hessian sack-cloth, albeit a rather posh version of it ( who are you calling a commoner?! ) . The contrasting gold grosgrain sash is sooo pretty.

Dress #3 - Tattoo Dress by Belle Sauvage Leopard (£125) - Yeh ok, we are pushing it with this one, and any guest wearing it would probably be frog marched from Westminster Abbey, but hey this is our fantasy Royal Wedding list and we want it in there!

Dress #2 - Bird Print Frill Dress by Karen Walker (£330) - Our favorite Kiwi designer Karen Walker does dresses very well indeed, and this layered frill number in the sweetest small bird print on sky blue cotton is OTM.

Dress #1 - Wasp Print Silk Dress by Peter Jensen (£225) - The number one slot goes to this gorgeous fine silk printed sundress by Peter Jensen, elegantly flattering halter-neck, draw-tie cinched waist and get up close and you see a thousand wasps - like Marmite you'll either love it or hate it!
